This concentrates on farming of cereals, grains, vegetables, fruits, among others including maize, beans, French beans, tomatoes, onions, kale, Irish potatoes, bananas. The foods are planted concurrently where planting seasons marry. Planting is also done alternately through crop rotation to ensure the soil does not develop barrenness. Once the crops are ripe, they are harvested and stored to supplement the food reserves for the HOREC community, and the excess of which is sold to ready markets as a source of income to enable HOREC undertake her other programmes.
