Hope for Orphans Rescue Centre (HOREC) is a children’s home along Kangundo Road in Mutalia, Machakos County, about 60 km east of Nairobi. Since 2005 we have cared for orphaned children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Christine Wambui founded HOREC in 2005. We care for and protect children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, and support families in the surrounding community, on two acres in Mutalia, along Kangundo Road.
