Machakos First Lady Lilian Nganga Shows Mother’s Love To HOREC Children

HOREC has over the years grown to serve children from the neighboring community who cannot be accommodated in the home (due to limited space) in partnership with POSITIVE ACTION FUND (PACF).

This month, HOREC organized a four day seminar that culminated in the open day event that was graced by the Machakos first lady Lilian Nganga, area M.C.A Magdalene Ndawa and Maendeleo ya wanawake Machakos county chairperson, Mrs Francisca Mutinda.

The three day seminar brought all the children who are supported by HOREC and its partners to undergo psycho-social training on self-awareness, stigma eradication and good adherence. The beneficiaries comprised of both primary and secondary school children who are either affected or under care and treatment.

The first lady, who was the guest of honor, promised to work with children under our care to ensure they get the best care. She took her time to talk to the children and share a meal with them.

Her support, time and love she showed our children will forever remain treasured.
